Description
Elements deep edge cotton canvas are made from 100% medium grain cotton and stretched on solid pine bars. The cotton is triple primed using white gesso, protecting the surface and maintaining the integrity of the artwork over time. Elements canvas has a medium grain surface with a moderately textured surface, and a superior weight of 380gsm.
Deep edge canvases are often used for artworks intended for gallery display. The thicker frame gives a modern, polished look, and there?s no need for a separate frame; deeper edges can allow artists to paint over the sides, offering more flexibility in the artwork's composition.
